QuestExpansion - The Iniquitous Shadow Of Belthor

Hello everyone, 

I present to you the 5th Questbook in my main series of HQ expansions. The Iniquitous Shadow of Belthor follows Thural Ironflame from the Single Quest The Ogres Trial: The Crown of Valor. Which is also included in the Questbook at the very beginning.

The Questbook expands on Thurals story, offering players 4 different stories over 28 Quests.

Overview

Thural Ironflame arrives at The Lunar Province shrouded in secrecy. Cloaked and hidden, he opts to stay within the confines of his carriage, carefully collecting bounties to maintain his cover. However, as he navigates the bustling cities rich in commerce and history, Thural uncovers a deeper, more sinister threat lurking within the province. Scattered and hidden like rats, dark forces weave a complex web of mystery in each quest he undertakes. Ignoring these threats could lead to catastrophic consequences for the entire region.

Simultaneously, Thural must confront remnants of his past. Although his previous Lord Ekur has been defeated, loyalists with murderous intent and a thirst for revenge still lurk in the shadows, plotting against him. Thural's journey is fraught with peril from both old enemies and new, as he strives to protect the province and uncover the truth behind the growing darkness.

Over the course of multiple quests, Thural faces multiple threats, each with optional decisions that could either mitigate or exacerbate the danger. His choices will determine the fate of The Lunar Province, challenging him to balance his quest for bounties with the need to confront and eliminate the looming threats. The stakes are high, and Thural must navigate this perilous path to ensure the safety and future of the realm.

This is by far the most text heavy detailed Questbook i have done, over the last year i have been working on and off this refining and working the story until i was happy with the overall flow and structure. I didnt want to do a Questbook with very little story, i wanted a more detailed and immersive questbook. So i hope i have managed to pull it off. All i have left to do is finish the Quests and playtest them.

Coming with this Questbook is a hero card and 5 Skill cards for Thural. Both in classic and modern styles. 1 Equipment card. Heavy Mace. 1 Artifact Card. Crown of Valor. 3D miniature of Thural Ironflame for my fellow HQ fans to download and to use in the Quest.
